Canadian Men's Clinic is pleased to offer vasectomy services using the "no-needle no-scalpel" technique. This technique is well known around the world and is used in men to successfully prevent future impregnation. The no-scalpel technique is associated with a reduced rate of pain and complication as compared with the traditional "scalpel" method. There is no incision and stitches are generally not required to close the entry point. The no-needle approach allows us to apply anaesthetic without the use of an injection needle, resulting in a more effective 'freezing', while using significantly less anaesthetic medication. In most cases, very long waiting lists make this process frustrating. At Canadian Men's Clinic we offer a "one visit" option and we provide pre and post procedure information by telephone and email. In the vast majority of cases one visit is all that is needed.
